Amazing Experience! I traveled from Washington, D.C. to Chile this December to visit Santiago and hike around the Andes. Before arriving, I tried but failed to find a company who would lead groups to Cerro Provincia, a 9,020 ft (2,750 m) mountain near Santiago. Luckily, when I arrived in Chile I heard about Allmountain Tours and they were more than willing to organize a trek for the day! Rutchen and everyone at Allmountain were quick to reply to my emails and very accommodating of my schedule. I felt very much at ease knowing that the staff were trained in mountaineering and first aid, and had so much experience leading treks all over Chile. The tour was very reasonably priced and included food for the day as well as pick up/drop off from central Santiago. Most importantly, the small group size made this feel like a private trek among friends - leading to an unforgettable day during which we summited and returned from Cerro Provincia. The views of the Andes were stunning, and the sense of accomplishment at the end of the day made the long trek one of the most unforgettable experiences of my time in Chile. Would highly recommend!
