Important Information:
This Mountain Tour & Trekking Experience has been designed to combine two of Central Chile’s most iconic destinations into a single unforgettable day. Begin your adventure with a rewarding hike in the spectacular La Campana National Park, followed by an incredible Valparaíso Sunset Tour led by a knowledgeable local guide. To complete the experience, you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner at a traditional local restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
La Campana National Park is located within the Chilean Coastal Mountain Range, between the Valparaíso and Santiago Metropolitan regions. The park features some of the highest peaks of the Coastal Range and is one of Chile’s most important protected natural areas.
On February 15, 1985, the park was declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in recognition of its outstanding ecological, scientific, educational, cultural, and recreational value on a global scale.
The park is home to one of the world’s largest concentrations of the endangered Chilean Wine Palm (Jubaea chilensis), an endemic species found only in Chile and recognized as the southernmost palm species naturally distributed on the South American continent.
The vibrant port city of Valparaíso, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Chile’s principal seaport, is rich in history, culture, and architectural diversity. Built naturally around a magnificent bay surrounded by steep hills overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the city forms a spectacular natural amphitheater that has inspired artists, writers, and travelers for generations.
Together with a local guide, you’ll experience Valparaíso like a true local, wandering through its colorful streets, hidden alleyways, scenic viewpoints, and historic neighborhoods while discovering the unique character of its people and culture. You’ll also enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the city’s most authentic and highly recommended restaurants.
Finally, we’ll return to Santiago after an unforgettable journey that perfectly combines the breathtaking beauty of Chilean nature with the vibrant culture and heritage of one of South America’s most fascinating cities.
